Ca phe sua is a Vietnamese coffee that when
translated, means iced milk coffee. Ca phe sua is created by mixing
a dark French roast coffee that typically includes an
implementation of chicory with around a quarter or half as much
sweetened condensed milk. The mixture is then poured into a glass
over ice cubes.
When creating this coffee drink, the coffee is
brewed using a small drip filter into a cup that is already holding
the sweetened, condensed milk. The blend of condensed milk and
coffee are then mixed together before being poured over the
ice.

than you would use when brewing an average pot of coffee.
The coffee you use when making Thai iced coffee
should be a blend that is infused with chicory for the proper
flavor. When your coffee is finished brewing, pour about eight
ounces of the java into a cup and then add about a tablespoon of
sweetened, condensed milk.
Stir this blend very well and then pour into
another glass that has been filled with ice cubes.
Restaurant Thai Iced Coffee
Oleng
There is another recipe for Thai iced coffee
that is not only wonderfully tasty, but is also a lot more like
what you would get if you’re ordered an iced coffee in a Thai
eatery.
This type of Thai iced coffee is known as oleng
and is a lot stronger than the previous recipe. As with all iced
coffee, this recipe too can be modified to suit your particular
taste.
To create a restaurant style Thai iced coffee
you will need to put about six cardamom pods into your coffeepot
along with eight tablespoons of dark roast coffee. Continue brewing
as you normally would and add sugar to taste.
When using a regular coffee maker as apposed to
a French press or espresso machine, you will want to use
approximately half the amount of water typically used when making a
regular pot of coffee. The reason for this is that you want the
coffee to be very strong.
When finished brewing, fill a glass with ice and
then pour in your coffee. Make certain that you leave about a half
inch worth of room at the top of the glass so that you can pour in
a touch of half-and-half cream.
