Coffee Mate Creamer

Coffee-Mate is a powdered non-dairy creamer manufactured by Nestle. It was first introduced in 1961 as the world's first non-dairy creamer. Since the product is non-dairy, it can be left un-refrigerated without spoiling.

Since its introduction in 1961, several types of Coffee-Mate creamer have been introduced, beginning in 1989 with Coffee-Mate Lite (low-fat) and Coffee-Mate Liquid. Today, the liquid variety is much more popular than the powdered kind.

Coffee mate is available in 4 different varieties- Coffee mate liquid, coffee mate powder, coffee mate liquid concentrate and coffee mate soy.

Coffee mate liquid is available in amaretto (rich almond flavor), chocolate raspberry (rich chocolate and mouthwatering raspberry mingle), fat free, fat free French vanilla, Cinnamon Vanilla Crème (it has a touch of spice, and a swirl of luscious vanilla. Cinnamon Vanilla Crème is smooth, rich and delicately blended with real cinnamon spice and vanilla essence), Coconut crème (this is a tropical inspired flavor) and many other flavors.

The coffee mate powder is available in Original Coffee Creamer, Irish Crème, Hazelnut (gives the sweet nutty richness of hazelnuts), French Vanilla (provides a rich, creamy and classy taste of vanilla), Cinnamon Vanilla Crème, Creamy Chocolate and other flavors.

Coffee mate concentrate is available in 3 different flavors- French vanilla (One bottle equals 250 single servings), Hazelnut and Sweetened original (with a hint of sweetness, the velvety smooth Original non-dairy creamer Liquid Concentrate is the perfect choice for busy coffee stations), while the Coffee Mate Soy is available in Soy French Vanilla (this has a smooth texture and creamy taste of this delicious flavor where the goodness of soy is combined with the rich taste of vanilla. It's a guilt-free way to enjoy a delectable cup of coffee with a unique velvety taste) and Soy Original (it has a goodness of Soy combined with mooth creamy taste of coffee mate, this flavor will bring a velvety fullness and delicious flavor to your coffee) flavors.

Coffee Mate creamer is available in two sizes - a 500g tin (which is the one we buy) and a 200g tin. The 200g tin isn't actually a tin - it's a cardboard container with the same features and design of the tin. There are three main colours to the packaging - red, white and a gold color. On the front on the tin, in large red letters is 'Coffee Mate’. Underneath this is a picture of a steaming coffee cup with the steam rising to create a white heart behind the large red 'Coffee Mate' above.

Nestle states that their Coffee Mate is a blend of glucose syrup and vegetable fat'. As such it is suitable for vegetarians. Glucose Syrup, Hydrogenated vegetable fat, Acidity Regulators (E331, E340, E452), Milk Proteins, Emulsifiers (E471, E472e), Color (E101) are the main ingredients of the coffee mate creamer.

Coffee mate creamer adds a smooth creamy finish to my coffee. The packaging is easy to use (please note that all new tins have an air tight lid underneath the plastic lid that needs to be peeled off before use). The Coffee Mate is quickly dissolved when put into the Coffee (can be added before of after you pour boiling water into your cup). It's a great alternative to Milk and last much longer with the same fresh and pleasing results.
